M. Koops: Aufgrund technischer Restriktionen der vorhandenen Kommando-(KDO-)Anlage des NDR, wurde die Migration auf eine digitale, umfassende Gesamtlösung während des laufenden Betriebs begonnen. Neben der Erneuerung der Hardware ist auch die Erweiterung der Infrastruktur durch LWL und angepasste Schnittstellen erforderlich. Es wird ein Einblick in den ersten Bauabschnitt vorgestellt. Das Gesamtprojekt soll im Jahr 2011 abgeschlossen sein.
To overcome technical restrictions in its legacy intercom system, NDR is deploying an extensive all-in-one solution without interrupting the normal operation of its facility. Besides renewing the hardware, the new installation includes an expanded infrastructure with fibre-optics (LWL) and the necessary additional interfaces. The author gives an insight into the first construction phase. The project is scheduled for completion in 2011.
