Job description:
  • You will be responsible for development projects of lenses for high-end camera systems and control the project activities to ensure the objectives with regard to quality, costs and deadlines.
  • For this purpose, you will assume an interface function between development, testing, supply chain, production, product management and service as well as external partners.
  • You will coordinate the system requirements in a complex stakeholder landscape and take care of the planning and prioritization of their implementation.
  • You will be responsible for continuous and transparent communication with all stakeholders as well as the Product Manager Optical Systems as the client.
  • You will report regularly on the progress of the project to the management.
Requirements:
  • You have successfully completed your studies in photonics, physics or a comparable field.
  • You have relevant professional experience as a project manager coupled with a strong interest in optics and/or lenses (e.g. in the field of photography).
  • You also bring very good knowledge in intercultural cooperation, especially with Asian regions.
  • Personally, you are characterized by a high ability to work in a team with social competence as well as strong communication skills and very good moderation skills.
  • Very good knowledge of English round off your profile.
  • A high willingness to travel is a matter of course for you.
