Lisa Reihana: Emissaries features the artist’s vast panoramic video in Pursuit of Venus [infected], 2015—17, alongside new interrelated photo-based and sculptural works. The exhibition will be presented at Tesa dell’Isolotto, one of the oldest and most expansive Naval buildings in the Arsenale. This will be the first time the New Zealand pavilion has been located within the Biennale’s exhibition area.

Neuseeland präsentiert auf der Internationalen Kunstausstellung der Biennale in Venedig das Werk der Multimedia-Künstlerin Lisa Reihana. In der Ausstellung mit dem Titel Lisa Reihana: Emissaries wird vom 13. Mai bis zum 26. November 2017 das Panoramavideo in Pursuit of Venus [infected] – gezeigt. Ergänzt wird das Video durch eine neue Fotoserie der Künstlerin. Kuratorin der Ausstellung ist Rhana Devenport, die Direktorin der Auckland Art Gallery.
