The novel NNR standard efficiently compresses neural networks by 90 to 95 percent and thus to a fraction of their size without degrading the classification quality. The standard specifies a set of advanced coding methods for parameter reduction, quantization and entropy coding. These methods can be optimally combined depending on the application scenario. In addition, the standard can be easily integrated into common industry formats for neural networks.
