The development and manufacture of camera systems requires meaningful and exactly reproduceable reference parameters. The image analysis and QC department at Arnold & Richter has developed a procedure for the comparision of professional still and motion picture camera systems. This was used during the design phase of the Alexa camera system and has become part of the quality-control procedure since serial production started in June 2010. This contribution explains the procedures in detail.
H. Kiening, S. Pott: Zur Entwicklung und Fertigung von Kamerasystemen ist eine aussagekräftige und gut reproduzierbare Metrik erforderlich. Bei Arnold und Richter hat man in der Abteilung Bildanalyse/QM ein Verfahren entwickelt, das während der Entwicklungsphase des Alexa-Kamerasystems für den Technologievergleich professioneller Still- und Bewegtbildkamerasystemen eingesetzt wurde. Seit dem Produktionsbeginn im Juni 2010 wird es als Teil der Qualitätssicherungsprozeduren bei ARRI verwendet. Im Beitrag wird das Verfahren detailliert beschrieben.
