With an increase in the number of S3D productions, the availability of useful equipment for production and postproduction is also growing. Standards for workflows are still in short supply and how much control of budgets are exercised often depends on the technical limitations instead of the requests and wishes of the shooting team. This article tries to show alternative approaches based on limiting and formalising some tasks as well as by using new technology.
