Facing rising requests in the area of postproduction, it becomes even more difficult to be profitable. How it can be positively influenced, will be explained in the contribution. This paper reviews the way shared workflows are currently structured using conventional SANs before exploring the capabilities of a new infrastructure and details how it increases efficiency in the multivendor real-world Post/DI pipeline.
