In close cooperation between BFE in Mainz, Germany, and Cisco, a system for the control, monitoring and management of local and national contribution and distribution networks has been developed, that will be explained by use of the system components. The project, which is currently in its final acceptance phase, will be presented in a detailed report in an upcoming edition of FKT.
