The broadcasting workflow has changed. It moved from analogue to digital production, from analogue tape to digital tape, and signals are sent around facilities and between facilities digitally. The workflow is becoming complex with distribution via terrestrial, satellite, cable, internet and mobile media. Content is being re-purposed at different resolutions and frame rates, using new codecs and different bit-rates, with different technical requirements for each file. The article explains what to look at and how to handle during the QC process.

Das hat die Wiederverwertung von Inhalten mit unterschiedlichen Auflösungen, Bildwechselraten, Codecs und technischen Dateianforderungen zur Folge.
